Turtle was founded in 2014 to close a fundamental gap on the supermarket shelves: a couple and new parents, the founders had real difficulty finding organic cereals without added sugar. So they decided to create the breakfast variations they wanted for a balanced, filling and nutritious family breakfast themselves. All ingredients are grown organically, all raw materials are fairtrade and, for the most part, regionally produced. Even the packaging is in a class of its own: the cardboard boxes are made from 80% recycled fibres and fully recyclable.

Why Turtle? What does a turtle have to do with your breakfast? Quite simply, unlike the hare in the famous fable, the turtle/tortoise doesn't burn all of its energy at once, choosing instead to move slowly, but steadily forward.
